Full Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
Provide companionship and emotional support, engaging clients in conversation and activities.
Assist with light housekeeping, such as laundry, dishes, and maintaining a safe living environment.
Prepare simple meals and support prescribed dietary needs.
Perform medication reminders (non-clinical, as allowed by state regulations).
Support clients with transfers, walking, and safe use of assistive devices.
Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or community activities (as needed).
Observe and report changes in client condition or behavior to supervisors.
Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
Follow all agency policies, safety procedures, and confidentiality standards.
Position Summary:
The In-Home Caregiver provides compassionate, reliable, and person-centered support to clients in their homes. This role helps individuals maintain comfort, safety, and independence by assisting with daily living activities, household tasks, and companionship. On-the-job training is provided to ensure caregivers feel confident and prepared. We do on-the-job training!
