Full Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.

  • Provide companionship and emotional support, engaging clients in conversation and activities.

  • Assist with light housekeeping, such as laundry, dishes, and maintaining a safe living environment.

  • Prepare simple meals and support prescribed dietary needs.

  • Perform medication reminders (non-clinical, as allowed by state regulations).

  • Support clients with transfers, walking, and safe use of assistive devices.

  • Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or community activities (as needed).

  • Observe and report changes in client condition or behavior to supervisors.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.

  • Follow all agency policies, safety procedures, and confidentiality standards.

Position Summary:


The In-Home Caregiver provides compassionate, reliable, and person-centered support to clients in their homes. This role helps individuals maintain comfort, safety, and independence by assisting with daily living activities, household tasks, and companionship. On-the-job training is provided to ensure caregivers feel confident and prepared. We do on-the-job training!
